The proceeds made by the Anglo-Ecuadorian Society stand at recent ALAF Fairs were distributed to the following charities:

FECUPAL – Centro de Cuidado Diario ‘Camiluz’ –helps poor children with learning and medical problems. The donation will help them with their expenses.

JUCONI (Junto con los Niños) £960.00
located in Guayaquil.  The organisation works for the education and wellbeing of children. The money received was put towards the education and wellbeing of four chosen children on the basis of £80.00 per month.  The society receives periodic reports on the progress that these children make.

2007  Profit: £729.96
Fundación Ecuatoriana de Cuidados Paliativos, Quito
– this Foundation looks after mentally handicapped children.

Junto con los Niños, Ecuador (Sponsor four Children)    £ 640.00
See above for details.  However, since 2004 the Anglo-Ecuadorian Society has sponsored two “Juconi” children in Guayaquil on a monthly basis and in 2006 increased their support to four “Juconi” children.

The Anglo-Ecuadorian Society has been funding medical and dental treatment through “CEMSI” for 400 children at different schools in the Barrio of Atucucho, Quito.

The Working Boys’ Centre.  Founded in 1965 by a member of the British Embassy in Quito with the initial objective of caring for shoeshine boys off the streets of Quito.

Volunteers run a Free meals Programme for Street Children and Old People serving 125 children and old people.

Int’L Children’s Trust for “Junto con los Niños“   £  500.00
Supports projects in India, Zambia, Mexico, Ecuador and Sri Lanka and places children at the top of their agenda.
JUCONI Guayaquil supports poor street children and helps them back to normal schooling.
