Disaster Relief Aid

El Salvador 2011 - £1,000 
In response to HE the Ambassador of El Salvador’s appeal for humanitarian aid, ALAF made a donation of £1,000 as relief aid for the national emergency faced by El Salvador due to intensive rains from tropical depression 12E, which caused severe damage across the country and left thousands of people homeless.

Colombia 2011 - £2,500
ALAF made a donation of £2,500, in response to the Ambassador of Colombia’s request for a donation for aid following the seriousflooding caused by torrential rains in many regions of Colombia. The donation was made with a request that money be spent in helping children.

Chile 2010 - £5,000
Chile was hit by an 8.8 magnitude earthquake and ALAF donated £5,000 to the Chilean earthquake appeal via Save the Children special appeal for the disaster.
